Do Animals Have Souls?
The answer is yes — they absolutely do.
Because animals have souls, we can communicate with them through a soul-to-soul connection. Animal communication is very similar to psychic and mediumship readings with people. Our pets have souls, personalities, emotions, and awareness. They communicate using the same intuitive pathways that our loved ones in spirit do — through our Clairs.
They may show images (clairvoyance), speak messages (clairaudience), or give a strong knowing or feeling (claircognizance and clairsentience). The communication is often simple, pure, and full of heart.
How Does Animal Communication Work?
When connecting with a living pet, an animal communicator meets with the caregiver, who gives permission to connect with the pet’s energy. I then telepathically greet the soul of the animal and ask for their permission to communicate.
In my experience, pets are very straightforward communicators. They have a soul, but information is also filtered through their animal brain — which makes their messages honest, simple, and sometimes quite charming.
Often, they will take me clairvoyantly through their home. They may show me their bed, their food bowls, or their favorite toys. They’ll show themselves doing the things they love most. Many radiate warm feelings of love and contentment.
They also clearly express likes and dislikes.
For example, one dog once described a small dog he did not like — which turned out to be the neighbor’s dog who barked incessantly at him. His description was quite comical, and his owner immediately confirmed the situation.
Animals also share what brings them joy. A horse once told me he loved other species of animals. He showed me a dog he played with along the fence line and baby chicks he enjoyed watching when he was younger. His owner confirmed she had baby chicks at that time. He also asked me to tell his trainer he would appreciate more carrots and apples — and that his water bucket should always be kept full.
Do Animals Communicate from the Spirit World?
Yes, they do.
I once experienced a beautiful session where both a horse and his owner came through together in spirit. They had both passed. They shared reciprocal messages of love and gratitude.
The horse expressed deep appreciation for the older gentleman who had cared for him so lovingly, saying he always felt safe and cherished. The gentleman expressed equal love and gratitude for the companionship and happiness the horse brought into his life.
It was truly beautiful to witness their continued bond across the veil. Sometimes while doing a mediumship reading, pets come through to express love and messages!
Can an Animal Reading Fix a Behavior Problem?
A reading may provide insight into the cause of a behavior.
Just like people, animals develop habits. While communication can uncover emotional or environmental factors contributing to an issue, training and consistency are often still necessary to correct behavioral patterns.
Animal communication is a supportive tool — not a replacement for practical training.
Can an Animal Reading Replace Veterinary Care?
Most likely not.
An animal may indicate that something hurts or feels uncomfortable. However, because their information is filtered through their animal brain, it is important not to rely solely on intuitive communication for medical diagnosis.
Animal communication can offer helpful clues, but it should complement — not replace — proper veterinary care.
